The BORBHAG Cup 2025 pauses to honour those who touched our journey.
Zubeen Garg was a musician, singer, composer, songwriter, instrumentalist, actor, director, filmmaker, poet and philanthropist who primarily worked in the Assamese, Bengali, and Hindi-language films and music industries. He sang in 40 languages and dialects and was regarded as one of the most influential musicians in Assam - deeply connected with the people.
Mr. Kapur was Chairman of SONA Comstar Ltd. and a global business leader with over two decades of industry experience. He served as Chairman of CII Northern Region and on the Board of Governors of The Doon School. Polo was the sport he was most passionate about. The BORBHAG Cup had the honour of his Patronage as we nurtured our effort in the space of golf.

Cause Partners
The BORBHAG Cup 2025 partnered with two organisations driving meaningful change in the region.
A joint partnership between the Government of Assam and Tata Trusts, set up in December 2017 to create a first-of-its-kind, three-level cancer grid in the state — delivering standardised and affordable care closer to patients' homes.

The Golf Federation of India was founded with the mission of making golf more inclusive, accessible, and respected as a mainstream sport. GFI organised the GFI Tour 2025, spanning September 2025 - January 2026, featuring 100 events across the country.
BORBHAG Cup 2025 was associated with GFI - the Gross Winner Prize was sponsored by GFI. The Gross Winner received entry into the GFI Tour 2025 Grand Finale in January 2026.
